I have seen my aunts, cousins, and sister wearing those lehngas at family weddings and the way they dress up makes them not only looking elegant but also quite different as per bridal dress.
they wouldn't even let us touch their bridal dresses not to mention giving to charity... I guess my sister could even give her everything in charity but not her wedding dresses including mayun ka jora and those green and yellow kanch ki curiyaN. well, everyone is different in their own way

Yes my sister had golden lehnga at her wedding,,, she was looking absolutely gorgeous but trust me thats a bad choice... why?? because all those camera lights and movies flashes make this color looking dull and my sister had wonderful pics with a black back ground but with no background those pics sucked.
choice is upto you, don't stick with red or golden lehnga... go for another color that suits you.
