Brig Syed Tariq Mahmood Shaheed death was not planned, anytime when parachute are packed, two officers have to sign on the report and it is almost like after a plane crash, they look for engineers and crew who ok'd the flight, same way when ever accidents happens in Forces, they always get to the bottom of it, that is a second factor that sometime those reports dont come out for public review.
There was a committee, Major General Zafar Malik was incharge and they review all the facts and figures and after numerous weeks of hard work and efforts, they declared it was an accident. Right after Brig TM's shahdat, one of his companion Havaldar Liaquat from Chakwal had the similar accident in Lahore during Horse & cattle show, He also got Shahdat and left 3 little babies under 6 years of age orphans.
Once again, we have numerous heroes in our history and for some reason their names dont become part of media but I think its good, other wise once public would know, what they have done for this nation and country, they will make their graves like a SHRINE and probably start going there for prayers and blessings.....
So far 9 personnals in Pak Forces had got Shahdat cause of different accidents during Paratrooping and Free falls, its part of the risk they took during their services, only one was during war time and that was in Fazlka border when paratrooper was shot during raid and later on his body was discovered with 13 bullett holes from Indian custody.
Long Live Pakistan.
