An asinine post with no basis in fact. Gays are not persecuted in Pakistan either and you can read both Herald and Newsline that have been doing stories on this periodically since the 90s. The whole crossdressing phenomena for example has never invited the condemnation as it has in the west (I mean Heejras have been around for how long and they actually come to dance at weddings) But the point is that homosexuality is simply not an issue in this part of the world since homophobia has never been that big here either (There is no aversion to physicality amongst people of the same sex as there is in the West). Moreover, this and other antics together with the rhetoric being used come across an attempt to be more westernized than the west, whiter than white etc. which actually does you guys more harm than good because increasingly you seem like some pathetic wannabes following popular trends in the hopes of getting kudos rather than any genuine movement at social evolution.
