I applaud the French. Just as a communist can never become a member of a society practicing capitalism, a muslim can never be a member of a secular state as envisaged in the French revolution, just as a non-muslim can never be a member of a Muslim state. It is inherently contradictory. I hope this action further reinforces the ideological boundaries that exist between secularists and muslims.
