Do not you people have noticed one thing that there remained a lull and calmness in Kashmir(still remains even after the intensity of the protests have come down) especially when it was virtually boiling in tension over the land revocation disputes?Terrorist leaders from L.E.T and H.M had made some remarks about the ongoing `people struggle' barring that nothing significant came out from these organizations.Ofcourse apart from a grenade hurl over a few of the North Indian tourists no major incident has taken place in Kashmir for some time now. Thanks to a fantastic vigil and care by the Indian security forces,the people of Kashmir have been untouched by terrorists.
This forces one to think that the end of Kashmir terrorism has come or fast approaching .This is a critical juncture ,where Indian forces have stamped out the death of ``terrorism in the valley.
The recent developments have also helped augment this situation ,like I.S.I was warned by U.S and a crippling economy of Pakistan.Ofcourse thanks to some of the sincere efforts by Mr.Musharaff to contain these people when he was in power.One needs to sit and watch patiently whether democratically elected government in Pakistan would carry on with what Mr.Musharaff has done.Also there is a growing resentiment among the people of Pakistan,and in India aswell,that there is no military solution for Kashmir issue.
But it is interesting to note that pan world terrorism is losing it's grounds.I think it's begining is marked by the defeat of Al-Quaida in Iraq and the Chechnyan conflict coming to a halt.
What do you people think about the presesnt state of Kashmir terrorism?
Is it completely wiped off or became in active by the superior Indian military or it is active buit it's back bone has been ,palpably but pathetically crused?
