For desi dishes I presume that things like makki roti and haleem are good, haleem especially so because of the meat content for protein and all the concoction of those lentils and pulses but be sure to reduce mirch level during Ramadan. Spices and masalas are nice but they too are bad for the gut.
Not long to go now for Ramadan ... start the live bacteria drinks from today ... one every evening. Also try to eat less than normal for the next day or so.
