Are we responsible for our deeds?, if we are then we should know that responsibility always comes with an authority, if result of our act is directly a manifestation of Allah’s will, then we don’t stand accountable for our good or bad deeds, and the only thing that we could be accountable for would be our intentions, not the results and if I stretch it a little further even we could not intend to do anything without Will of Allah.

I believe that we are completely independent in making our decisions, however we have no control on the outcome of our decisions, and that too not because Allah has already written the fate of our decisions but only because;

1) Allah is omniscient, and knows the outcome
2) Allah has created all the possibilities

The true meaning, to me, of Allah’s will is not that the result of every thing is pre decided, but the result of an action or intention could have not been the same if Allah’s will was different.
Peace bro IntelliPhant

Please permit me to explain myself. When something happens it happens by the Will of God. Regardless of who initiated nothing can happen outside His Will. Man cannot disregard Qadr, but man can disregard Legislative Divine Law. Like for example the instruction to pray. However, when we do not pray God Wills it to be so. He permits us to disobey Him. Hence the nature of freedom of will. When we make a choice He facilitates that choice so we can see the effects of our choices manifest as though we have made them happen. Even when this choice is against Islam God will make it happen. To say that such and such SHOULD NOT have happened is wrong. It was in this context I meant the phrase.

As for repentance ... this is the opportunity that occurs after the event. Once we have made a bad choice with or without repurcusion we have another choice that presents itself before us. That is to do it again or to repent. If we do it again the God Wills it so, if we repent and never do it again then God Wills it so.

Everything you said above is congruent and correct, but my post was purely on mindset of contingency. This is a trick played on us by Shaitan, by dragging ourselves down to a rut ... why did I do this , oh why and then we fall into despair which is a condition outside the adqeedah of a Muslim.

"I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them -- they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah." [Reported by Al- Haakim - Sahih].
