Siraiki is a Punjabi variant, as concluded by linguistic scholars. It is also known as 'Southern Punjabi'. It comes under West Punjabi dialects (Lahnda) which include :
* Northern Hindko
* Southern Hindko
* Jakati
* Khetrani
* Mirpur Punjabi
* Siraiki
