1. It sounds like you have no idea what loner means [it means "one who avoids the company of other people." btw]

2. I think the term you were looking for is "single-tracked" or something along those lines...which is also pretty absurd, considering the fact that most of my posts on this site have probably been in fashion threads.

3. As far as "welcoming the Indian govt's gesture" is concerned, like I said, those of us who have dealt with the Indian govt's actions in Kashmir aren't quite as star struck as you are, and have every reason to be wary.

Ummm...did you not read what I already said?

Am I condemning the trains themselves? I don't have a problem with the technological advancement of Kashmir...my problem is with the smug attitude that Indians feel entitled to take as a result...as if throwing us a crumb every now and then legitimizes their illegal occupation and all the atrocities and war crimes they've committed to maintain it.

Yes, they do...thanks to Pakistan's "help." The Kashmir issue attracted a lot of international sympathy as a nationalist cause before the ISI turned it into a dumping ground for leftover Afghan jihadis in an effort to undermine the independence movement and turn it into a proxy war for the Pakistani absorption of Kashmir. It's going to take a lot of effort to undo the damage Pakistan has done.

With that sort of a defeatist mentality no one would ever accomplish any sort of lasting change. The Kashmiri independence movement predates Pakistan itself, and can survive without the support of Zardari or whatever other crook you people elect in the future.
