To everyone

In case you don't know who he is, he's the great poet of East and he is the man who had the vision of the Islamic Republic Of Pakistan.

I remember when I was in Pakistan, we used to have to go to school to listen to speeches given by others on this day, praising Iqbal. It was a boring day for us back then but now when I look back at that day, I think we should've enjoyed the day.

A couple of his great poems are (that I read in bachpan) Shikwa and Jawab-e-Shikwa.

What can YOU tell about Iqbal (without googling)? How did you guys celebrate this day in Pakistan?
