Marriage is a union of two people who decide to live together for better or for worse. It is just not for producing offsprings. This is a fundamental point that the thread starter has failed to understand.
At various times, Govt has encouraged intercaste marriages. The trend has not caught on because we believe in marriage as an institution. We don't believe in getting out of it on a fancy by saying some word thrice
