I notice that there are some mosque's where the imam or local followers wear green turbans (and / or possibly hats). I also notice that the imam starts chanting immediately after the jamaat prayer, and the local followers also do the same.
Please can someone tell me if there is a specific name for this practice or followers of this practice, and is it generally acceptable in Islam.
I in NO WAY intend to offend anyone by this question, I just want information, thanks.
