Ist sad to see how some of these countries lag in basic education and prevention measures. On the othe rhand the deteriorating social fabric and accepted promiscuity has made this and other STDs spread like wildfire. This should be among the top items on teh agenda for WHO as well as governments of these countries.
Does this stuff get reported in local press as well or the facts too hard for the local newspapers to publicize?
