Yeah. Subs can be used effectively to provide depth in the level of attacks.
However most of the developing countries use mobile launchers to create backup, and backup of backup strike capabilities.
GWs proved that it is very hard to kill the mobile launcher based missiles.
fixed silos are usually for the first strike, and then the war-tamasha moves to the mobile launchers. One may argue the range of mobile missiles. But that will make the discussion too techie.
Anyways the title of this thread is misleading. Pakistan has had backup strike capacity for a while now.
Only Indians and US-lefties are creating big fuss about it.
I am glad Pak government is sitting quiet while Indians and North Koreans go crazy with their missiles.
