I have to share this.. Last night we were invited for dinner somewhere and besides other dishes, they had haleem. Now for the garnishing, they had the usual stuff, chopped green chillies, ginger, fried onions, chaat masala, but instead of chopped cilantro, they had chopped mint. I waslike ummmm.. maybe they didn't have the cilantro or maybe they don't know what's to be put on top.. but believe you me.......
The haleem tasted absolutely regal with the mint leaves!!! It was soooo yum. She gave me some to take with me and I topped it with tons of mint leaves and well I was just havin food right now. I can't tell you all how GOOD it tastes with the mint as opposed to the dhanya.. I'm considering doin that next time whenever I make haleem and have guests over. anyone else does that? substitute cilantro with mint on purpose..????
hont mere thay, magar in ki..har ek baat thay tum...
