^ You're right, cos aisha's requested recipe contains suet in it, whereas a normal sponge doesn't, hence the different taste and aroma.

Suet is usually dehydrated beef fat, but they have vegetarian varieties also, which are made up of fat such as palm oil combined with rice flour.....

But i think suet is prolly not obtainable from dubai..... or is it?
