My mom makes awesome haleem and she usually makes a tarka of fried onions and ginger for it.....and includes dhaniya for garnish. But I will try the mint next time. I love the flavor of mint.
One of my least favorite vegetables is squash (kaddu). I don't like it. But my cousin once cooked it with finely chopped mint leaves.........and it was absolutely delicious. Didn't feel like kaddu at all!
