heat skillet
add 2 tblsp of sesame oil
add 1 tblsp of chili oil
add 1/2 tsp of crushed garlic
add 1/2 pound of shelled, deveined shrimp
cook till the preferred tenderness of shrimp is reached.
remove shrimp from skillet and set aside
add 1 tsp of sesame oil to skillet
add preferred variety of veggies (include: mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn, snow peas, water chestnuts, bok choy, bean sprouts, green red and yellow peppers etc.)
add salt and black pepper to taste
separately prepare......
to one cup of water add 1 tblsp of corn starch and 1 tblsp of soya sauce
mix well
back to skilliet.......
when veggies are sauteed to your preference re-introduce the shrimps set aside earlier
stir fry until shrimp are heated once again
add corn starch mixture and keep stirring
remove from heat when preferred amount of gravy is left in the pan.
garnish with roasted sesame seeds or cashew nuts and enjoy!
