AoA All,
I have recently been diagnosed with bilateral plantar fascitis after having a complaint of severe pain in my heels especially in the morning after getting out of the bed.I want to know if anyone here or their family member has an experience with this problem and what care/treatment they have found to be effective apart from complete bed rest which is NOT possible for me.physiotherapy and shockwave treatment is an option.the dr has suggested a steroid shot in the heel to reduce inflammation but i have heard of it being ineffective and adding to the pain in many cases.being tall and flat-footed, I have been wearing comfortable shoes since always..still i have got a new pair of scholl's medicated shoes with cushions that would supposedly help
redistribute the weight and am taking regular anti-inflammatory pain killer in mornings.
