^ they don't budge. honestly, my mum being the typical asian tries it ALL the time in Green Street
and they just won't budge! one or two might take a quid or so off but nothing major. Plus, most of them have a sign saying they won't negotiate prices as they are fixed.
daizy, go Green Street and it's difficult to tell you exactly what shops to go to because it would be easier if you start from the market area and go straight downwards. it's just much better looking through all the shops. although there's like this cheap shop near the islamic store (forgotten the name) and they do ready made clothes (quite pretty) so you might wanna check that one out.
