Alot of the very high end designer brands speak for themselves (if u label is visible) so there is no need to say "Do u like my handbag, it's GOOOCHEEE!". I think if people feel the need to drop names and prices into the conversation to ensure that u know they have spent alot on the items, they r probably insecure.

One time that really annoyed me was when she said something like "OHHHH we spent all day painting our bench.. you know, some people don't even have a chair in their garden.. we have a bench" I mean, mubaarak ho, you have a bench, ab chup kar ke bait jao uss par. And she refuses to speak in anything but english to her grandson, even though she can't speak it.. but apparently, she wants him to learn nothing but english.. sad!

So yeah.. going on and onnnn about themselves/how rich they are/how much £ they spend etc etc.. and the worst thing, looking down on people who can't or don't want to do as much.. equals being a SNOB.
People like that annoy me. Again I think it's down to insecurity. This aunty of yours needs to be thrown away in the rubbish bin - a designer one of course, that cost £500 - bcos she's worth it. BTW - i have a neighbour like this, I wonder if she is the same woman?

One must make a mark in this world, if I am remembered for anything, let it be cheese and crackers...
