he incorporates the real punjabi culture in his poems which most people would have a hard time understanding now a days. I bet a whole lot of punjabi speakers don't have a clue about many proverbs and terms he is using as they are a part of the old village culture, which is not present even in villages now a days.
It is superb though.
yaaN kay sapaid-o-seh maiN hum ko, dakhal jo hai so itna hai
raat ko ro ro subhu kiya, ya din ko jooN tooN shaam kiya
