You could try slitting them down the middle and adding some lemon to them? That should usually cut the sharp chilli taste

Or yes, you could turn it into a salan - make sure it's one with potatoes and onions in as these should usually pick up some of the chilli
Try a yoghurt or sweet based on - so for example a kebab kalya (wih yoghurt and cream) or a chinese sweet and sour recipe where you use a honey/sweet chilli recipe?
