do you invest in the market? if so, how would you describe your strategy? i.e., are you a buy and hold person? do you pick individual stocks yourself? which money managers do you follow? do you own mutual funds? or is that too risky for you and you stick to money market funds?

personally speaking, I consider myself a value investor, a buy and hold type. though I haven't done too much of that in my account since I've had much more success with "workout" situations in the 1-2 years, i.e., closed-end fund "arb", small merger arb, one-time reorgs, etc. but now that some of those opportunities seem to be drying up, I'll probably just buy equities. though I do wonder about the speed with which the market has snapped back since March.

anyway, share your thoughts...
