How many of you eat either of the two?
I remember back home, during Ramadan, as much as I liked the taste, I used to just avoid eating the whole thing disregarding the constant demand of my mom... Well, I think it had something to do with time constraint 
Gosh! I miss it here now

main to baree durwaish bandee hoon ik paratha or ik piyala dahee ka bus yehe hammare pait pooja hay : P

- Jalay bhunay kaalay pathar jaisay Pakoray
- Sri Lanka kay naqshay jaisay samoosa
- Dahi Baray (with pani kay jahaz jaisay pakoray)

Pheni is totally different thing... it is like siwaiiyaaN (vermecelli) but it is different

I can find pheni locally but khajla is not available , I top my sehri off with pheni every morning, love it since childhood.

Khajla/Pheni were the foods developed in the earlier centruies. No doubt they are in great in taste but they make you overweight during Ramazan. I think these were the foods which were necessary during old days when one has to work hard during the day.

Do you have to soak em in milk/chai or can they be eaten right away?
