My mother's grandmother. She died at 100+. When she died her great grand daughter had got married and gave birth to her first child. Her eldest son (my mother's taya) died two years earlier than her at the age of 85.

She was an amzing person. I still remember those starry summer nights when she used to give us a prickly heat powerder massage in the open area of nana's house.

She was confined to the bed during 3 last months of her life only.

Mostar, wow, simialr story here.

My daadi passed away at 100+, we were not sure if it was 101 or 103.
she had seen some of her great grandkids get married before she passed away.

talking to her we could get insighst into a bygone era like no book could provide and learn about teh family in a way not possible anymore.
