back to topic,
once we went over to some ones house, and unhu ne tikkis , pakorays etc banaye the.
and they gave a kaanta to eat with,
lekin me never eating pakoras, tikkis and leompias with kaanta
so i used my hand, as it should be 
woh log were looking at me thinking i am stupid 
khud unse khaya nahin jaraha tha. bits kept falling from their forks 
i found that very snobby, their behavior

I do eat almost everything with chamcha kaanta but I would never gawk at anyone if they were using their hands. I eat with hands too and also I eat biryani with hands and roti lol. Roti ko forks ke saath kis tarah khaoge

i remember here there was a journalist who attented a multi kulti party, and they had rotti there, and he wanted to use a kaanta,
and an elderly lady said: freeze, khabardaar agar kaanta istemaal kiya tau, haath se khao
