Thats so sad. I don't remember being taught not to stand under tree's at school except when it was pouring down and thundering and we were running towards the school past a massive oak tree, the head master was YELLING at us "DON'T GO NEAR THE TREE!!! It was really sad CCB, I did write a blog entry on this the day it happened.. the park wasn't too far from my home. The boy who died, was an old school friend of one of my friend's. By the way, from what I heard, the boys were sheltering under a tree from really heavy rain.. the thunder was quite unexpected for a lot of us here & I guess they were just really unlucky.
