How do you think internet affects people?

Does it bring out the best in them, or the worst in them? Or is it merely another way for people to be who they really are?

I wrote a blog about it some time back..allow me to be lazy and copy+paste from there...

"I observe some people are so harsh/rude even cruel to a extent on online forums, not just here, everywhere.The worst I've seen so far is Youtube where people don't even spare cute kids' funny videos. Is it because they know no one knows who they are or are they being themselves? I guess it's the former because I haven't seen so many rude people in real life, or then, maybe I am lucky.

Like who says even something as small as SHUT UP as many times as we see in this virtual world."
