Paklinks is an online community in which participants discuss various life and social issues, or just come for some quality time. As with all other types of communities, we have a set of rules or guidelines which must be followed by all members. If you have a query as to what they exactly pertain, by all means ask in the right forum.

1. Be courteous - Treat others as you would like to be treated. Bearing in mind that this is a large forum with a diverse community, and everyone wants to be treated with respect, it is important that you are courteous. Showing respect towards others ensures everyone gets along and thus builds a strong community. There is no need for hostile or insulting messages and/or posts.

2. – When you see an interesting thread or discussion, give it a positive rating. When you see a great question or answer, give it a star. If you see any forms of abuse, then report it instead of engaging the offender in thread. It helps the moderating and cleaning of the forums, thus makes this forum enjoyable for us all.

3. Sometimes the Moderation Team will have to intervene in threads, as they can foresee problems. To avoid this, ensure your thread title clear and does not include any derogatory meaning or language. You need to make your threads clear and descriptive enough. If you have any questions, contact the relevant Section Moderators or Channel Manager.

4. Please do your best to post threads where they belong, as it ensures it is read and answered by the right people. It is also a good place to note that SMS Text language or using CAPITALS extensively are not encouraged. Lastly, do not post more than one thread dealing with a topic; utilise the search function to see if your thread has already been posted recently.

5. HATE- Paklinks is not here for people to settle their personal hate issues. We are a community of people with diverse beliefs, opinions, and backgrounds, so please be respectful and refrain from using hateful and incendiary comments on the Paklinks Forum. Not only does this apply to language (explicit or implied), but also images, links or attachments that may cause offence. Please bear in mind that this is designed and aimed to be a family forum.

6. Paklinks Forum has an Audio/Video Chat function, designed precisely for people to chat, so please refrain from hijacking serious discussion threads – if you are in a fun mood, then please utilize this facility.

7. Paklinks Forum is a place to relax and have positive discussions – not to promote personal agendas. It is not permitted to post links that are unrelated to the forum/thread or are clearly meant only to solicit others for personal and financial gain. Linking to other sites is fine as long as it is within the context of a discussion; posting a link directly to a resource that answers a question is allowed.

8. In the case of bullying, be it publically or privately, please contact the Administration Team immediately. Also provide evidence, including any links to the threads or copies of any private messages sent, so the matter can be dealt with quickly and efficiently.

9. LAW- Members & Administration of Paklinks are not above the law, so do not post anything that violates the laws of your country, state, province, or city. Do not try to trick people into sharing their personal information, steal anything (like copyrighted or trademarked material), or break into places you are not permitted to be in. Do not threaten, harass, impersonate, or hurt others, and do not invade other people’s privacy.

10. RULE ALTERATIONS – These rules may be varied from forum to forum (cafe, bazar, society & lifestyle have specific posting guidelines specifically drafted for their needs) and it is vital that you read and understand them. If you have any queries or questions pertaining to the rules and regulations, then feel free to post a thread in the Feedback/Support section of Paklinks.

11. Paklinks Moderators have the authority to edit or remove any post or thread which includes unsuitable language and otherwise objectionable content. They can take any action which they deem appropriate for the offence; this may include a verbal warning, infraction, or banning members if necessary.

Violation of Paklinks guidelines may result in warnings and/or infractions being sent, and the suspension of your Paklinks account without prior warning. In extreme cases, violations may result in permanent ban on your Paklinks account, and consequently a ban on the IP address.
