Best thing you can offer him as gift is to stop complaining about what he could't do for you or what he should do for you. Accept him with all his weakness.

Ok so the typicals are :
*Beautiful Pocket Quran
*Guess Perfume
*Surprise Dinner at a Luxurious Restaurant
*A new set of tie + shirt
*New watch (like Rolex or whatever)
*New mobile
*Give a very nice atmosphere, changing the sheets, pillowcases, small decorations and on his return, candles everywhere in the house.
*Portable DVD player
*Laptop essential kit
*.......
Don't know how much you can spend or would it be more creative or something luxurious...

get him something he has mentioned he wants..it could be a great perfume, or some dress shirt and a tie a watch...all the ideas sidra0092 has given
next plan a proper candle lit dinner at ur place .. make everything yourself ..i know this requires effort but thts prolly the best present you could give .. or ok if not a dinner
bake him a great bday cake..n plan a surprise tea for him .. decorate your lounge, your bedroom or nythin wid candles and balloons wotever you like . act as if you have totally forgotten his bday..and when he gets back from work surprise him..have a great time together ...and then watch some really nice movie or nything
ohh i hav another idea ...if you have time then y not make a special self made pics album..get all the memorable pics of both of u together or ur family get sum pretty coloured papers put them together with a personalized message or a poem and give it to him .. add some witty captions to each pic ..
i hope u like these ideas hehe

Last time he watched an Indian movie, woh Kajol ko bohut aankhain phaar phaar ke dekh rahaa thaa. So what are suggesting here Enig?

further explanation to all the wives; enigma only wants you to stop watching sari clad girls in the rain, bikini clad on beaches is ok. At least that is what I got from Enigs reply.

If you really wanto make his B'day unforgettable,
then koi allagh sa kaam karo
Bungee jumping
Parchute jumping (or whatever the righht word in english is)
Paint Ball
Laser version of paintball
that would rock actually, agar aisa kuch karrain
best of luck
(not that you will even doubt to do this all
lekin koshish karyo )
Agar ALLAH ne chaha Zamana woh bhi aye ga
JahaN tak waqt jaye ga Issay agay hi paaye ga....

Can't explain.
