Hello fellows,
I've accidentally stumbled on this forum while looking for something completely unrelated and I've found it extremely interesting.
Let me introduce myself. I'm a Jewish, Israeli, atheist, and a Zionist. I'm also a scientist. I bet you don't have guests like me quite often, and my position probably stands at odds with most people on this forum. Yet, I expect a fruitful and mutually enriching discussion with you. I had very little interaction with Pakistani people before. I've met a couple of Indians and one Pakistani before, but that is it. Hopefully, this interaction will prove useful for all of us.

Looking at the number of replies, I am sure that you are not greeted very enthusiastically...

Isreali,Jewish,Athiest , scientist as a human how do you feel about what your people are doing to the people of Palestine
Do you feel it to be just to settle in your 'Promised' land when it comes as a result of brutally displacing someone living there for centuries ?

Hello,
I'd suggest going over to the World Affairs forum for a larger mob, er, I mean crowed.
Out of curiosity, what field do you specialize in?

Jews are fundamentally a people/nation/race what Quran calls Bani Isreal (Children of Isreal (Hazrat yaqoob AS).
Some of them practice Judaism & believe in god & some dont.

Yes, you are right. Judaism is a tribal religion, a religion of a people. In the ancient times it was important to practice the religion of your tribe. Today, it's no longer and issue. I am a member of the Jewish/Hebrew people by birth (proudly so), but I do not practice the tribal religion.

If you mean the occupation and everything that comes with it, I feel bad and I wish it to end. I can also ensure you, that I am far from being unique among Israelis in this feeling. The problem is that that the occupation is not the reason for the Arab-Israeli conflict, it's a consequence of it. To end the occupation, we have to end the conflict. There is a good formula to end the conflict - "two states for two peoples". It is acceptable for the majority of Israeli Jews, but it is rejected by the Palestinians. And the conflict goes on, with both sides suffering, admittedly Palestinians suffering more. Do you have a solution to this problem? Here is you chance for the peace Nobel prize.

Now that you have mentioned that you're an athiest so may I know why don't you believe in God and follow your tribe's religion?

My question was slightly more basic,
a jew anywhere in the world has a right to settle in Isreal because the Roman Empire unjustly expelled his ancestor 2000 years ago from this land, how do you feel about this considering that this has resulted (at least to us) in the same type of in justice been comitted towars other people who have been forced to abandon their land
While I do not totally agree with your fundamental assertion
- I dont intend to debate on it because I dont think either of us would change our point of view . What I would be most certainly interested in though is to understand how you think & see things, so I want to ask you some questions
* While you argued occupation is a consequence of conflict - What do you think is the real cause of conflict between these two people (arabs & jews) who are just 2 generations apart from each other.
* why do you think the 'two state solution' a perfectly sane solution & a good formula is not acceptable to Palestanians, in your own admission they are suffering more from this conflict then the jewish side, its their homes that are being demolished , its their children that are dying because of economic blockage. if anything they ought to have a larger interest to avoid conflict , but inspite of all this they prefer fighting then compromising- what do you think is drivining them

Are you people serious?
This is ONE person of a huuuuuuuuge group of DIVERSE people. Most of whom, actually don't hate YOU, or YOU, or YOU.
So, cut the guy some slack. Don't crucify him. He doesn't live in Israel, and probably doesn't have anything to do with military decisions in the middle east.
So, treat him like a human being, will ya?
Jesus Christ folks.
