Well: As one of the mod of video game forums requested. Here is the first character I am still working on.

This is just for the demo run model which will allow me to make one level and help creating tools. In other words I'll make this character in DirectX as well as one stage. Then I'll make Game Engines and tools such as Game Builder and Map editor and impliment the models in it and will use this over and over until I am satisfied with my tools. . I am still making this one as you can see that I lack the skills of shading....

things like Models . . Game Engines . . Game Builders . . Map Editors etc . . . how these thigs work . . . their types . . . a small intro .

This is a Guardien(Hero) of the temple(only one stage which I'll post here next as soon as I get some time to make it).

Game Engine is a tool that allows you to test game physics using your own computer's PhysiX engine. There are readymade engines if you go to Gamedev.net but you can make one on your own if you know C++ openGL and directX.

Game Builder is a tool that allows you to drag these characters and drop them in the prospective and program them or impliment events such as Left mouse click and rotate or it can be W, A, D / Uparrow, Leftarrow, Rightarrow which can be assigned to the model to move Forward, Left, Right. You can also make a tool in the game builder which'll allow you to make physics. A Unreal Tournament Engine would be the wide example.

Map Editors are no longer provided by games but they used to be. A person can create his own model impliment it and use Map editor. Map Editor are simple. They allow you to make and edit maps.

There is no small intro to the game that I will be posting here as soon as I am done my college and will start working on this piece. But I have further plans then this. This one is just a test run to see how things will work and it'll allow me to get used to the stuff, what are peoples' like and dislike about my game or my style of games. Once you are finally done with testing you can finally code them in creating relations between the introduction cinematic to first level, and it can be extended to many levels.

For those who are not tech sevy?

Here is a news flash:

- Unreal tournament is the only game that comes with the game engine. It tells you on their jewel box "Create your own game using our Unreal Engine" You use 3d studio max and impliment them in the game engine. Though if you make a game in Unreal engine that comes with URT and release it you have to take the permission from the people who made the Unreal Engine and pay like 50k$s and Higher depending on how much is the game worth as a licensing fees.

- Many Companies such as Blizzard entertainment or EA games have created their own game engines so they wont have to worry about paying the licensing fees .

- One can always make his own tools and do few test runs before they can actually make his own game studio. That is what my own intension is before my real project.
