So a few weeks ago I ordered 2 cotton custom suits from Utsavsarees.com. They have a great selection and excellent customer service. The shipping is a but pricey though. Like $20 for 2 suits.
You can check your order status, and the shipment arrives by DHL.
The mistake I made was that I gave them a finished size (measurements from a stitched suit) and did not tell them that, so they added a couple of inches every where assuming it was my actual measuremnts, and now the suits are very loose. I'll have to get them altered.
I did wash one of them to see if it shrinks, but it didn't.
So a great experience.
Btw, they are located in India so if you specify that you want Pakistani style shalwar, they make it exactly like that.
Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn't know you left open...

I love utsav! Every saree I have ordered from them is so gorgeous, and their customer service is VERY prompt. And bhabs, if you want, I can give you some coupons I have from them that applies 10 percent discount.

Oh that's good to know Shay. I'll get in touch with you re: coupons.
Precious Princess, Indian shalwars, especially the ones from Punjab, are longer that you want them to be, they also are big as in ghera. The ones made in Delhi are more like the Pakistani ones. The ones from southern India are too tight and even the kameezes are too long. Actually South Indians are more into sarees so they don't too many shalwar outfits.
I am from India but married into a Pakistani family so I can tell the difference in the outfits and how they are stitched.

yes it is $10 per suit, which let say you are buying 4 cotton suits, they come out to $40, and the shipping comes out to $40 too!..But if you are purchasing a more expensive outfit it is beneficial.

Not sure if you were offering coupon to all or someone in specific, but I thought I'd ask too!

Those of you who ordered, did the outfits turn out to be like the ones in the pics?
I feel a about insecure ordering from them due to the price. Like the lehengas for example, aren't some a bit too cheap if they are going to resemble the exact pic?

Ok here's my update:
Like I said in the other thread, I used to like Utsav alot until now.. their customer service has gone from great to good to absolute worse. Before, they would deliver to you exactly by the day you would request them, now you would be lucky if you receive it within 3 months after. My poor aunt placed her orders which they didn't deliver and 4 days before she needed them, they told her it would take atleast 2 weeks more. And that too, when she called them herself in India and got transferred to 10 people around. I felt so embarassed because I had done all these tareefs to her. Same thing happened to another friend and now me about a refund for earrings I had ordered and they JUST arrived after 3 months and that too, in broken condition. After calling them many times, I finally blew up and told them I was never referring anyone to them ever again (they knew I was a long time customer) and this was just horrible customer service and I dont have so much time that Im gona call them every night for this refund so they can gladly keep the money. Within an hour, I had 3 emails from different people saying sorry and the payment was processed. Not shopping with them again. They really give me headaches now.
Im now sticking to getting my sarees from NY where you can see the material, kaam in person and get the blouse stitched and fitted according to your taste. That's another thing, the blouses I got made from Utsav were poorly stitched even though the sarees were nice.

Ok now I don't know what to think. Just ordered a sari ($25) wanted to see how their blouse stiching is. I stick with Pakistanis when buying shalwar. juridar etc and indians when getting saris and lenghngas. I had heard great things about their blouse stiching and that was the big draw! I hope they are good!
