Khushboos by Chand, is based in Birmingham on Ladypool Road.
most outfits are custom made, usually within 6 weeks, the average fancy outfit starts from about £200-250, and he does a very good job and ensures customer satisfaction.
to date, we have ordered 2 bridal lenghas from chand,in 2007 and also this year, he always has unique pieces, if you are a genuine customer he will show you many designs, which they usually have stored away, not all his pieces are on display.
i will forward you the address and contact no, in the next day or so.

Hi is it me or is their phone constantly engaged? No way of contacting them...quite worrying actually. Anyone had simialr problems or got another contact number to call? I tried ringing the one on this forum but some man picks up and says to call a different number which is constantly engaged at every time of the day.

aliyah the customer service at Khushboos is appalling, they only usually deal with 'genuine' customers i have found a number online it is worth giving it a try 0121 7533045.

My advice to you is to actually pop in to the shop and just follow up on the progress of your outfit...preferrably on a week day, on a weekend it is chaos in there

hi thanks for your prompt reply. I tried ringing that number but they keep telling me to call the other number in regard to my order. It is quite bad service especially as I live quite far from Bham so I cant just pop in to the store. Thanks again though xxx

MANAGER SO RUDE, DIDNT EVEN APOLOGISE. ALSO NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY (WHICH IS USUALLY 75-100%!!)
THEY KEEP PHONE OFF THE HOOK OR DONT PICK UP IF IT DOES RING
BE WARNED, I WOULDNT RISK BUYING FROM HERE

i had to buy something off the shelf elsewhere and have it adjusted to fit. i cant emphasise enough how BAD khushboos service is, they actually didnt even tell me my outfit was lost, it was days of me calling, people even hanging up the phone on me cos they didnt want to deal with the problem, and most times phone off the hook or would just ring out.
it seems like the manager doesnt care cos they seem quite busy so he doesnt value each customer. but when i actually went to the shop, all the customers who were there were collecting orders and ALL were annoyed at the store and manager because of the poor service they had received!! wish i had seen that when i went to order as i would never had bought there had i known!

SORRY a MISSY, I DONT THINK THIS WILL HAPPEN. YOU WILL SEE FOR YOURSELF, CHAND IS SO RUDE, HE WILL HAVE NO SYMPATHY FOR YOU THAT THIS IS YOUR BIG DAY, HE'S GOT YOUR MONEY AND THAT IS ALL THEY CARE ABOUT. I DID GET REFUND IN THE END BUT THATS ONLY COS THEY LOST MY OUTFIT!! TRY CALLING TRADING STANDARDS IF THEY DONT AS THE PRODUCT IS NOT AS YOU WERE TOLD IT WOULD BE. THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON OR 2 IN CUSTOMER CARE!!

Oh great!

Thats all i needed to hear...well i got that sales woman ( the usual chatty sort) to right it on my reciept with a collection date .....

Oh guess what? A break through........I rang their landline and got through...FINALLYY!!!!!!

She said she has ordered it and should be here on time...if its not i will hold them to the reciept and make a fuss ......big time....

The only problem is i live so far away our trips to B'ham are very sporadic.....

Cos i'm not happy with first day lengha......guys will never understand what a main day outfit means to the 'bride to be'.

What did you do? Just get a ready made one then? How did you feel on the day? Sorry to hear about the loss..............

sorry to hear about the bad experience you guys have had from khusboos, all i
have to say is try they are full of bleep bleep, no manners no idea of how to deal and provide good customer service to its customers..and that is because the manager knows he can get customer easily but little the customers know that they are making the biggest mistake ever....am not saying all customers have had bad experience but sooo far whoever has dealt with manager have nothing good to say about them...false promises, avoiding customers calls, being rude, ripping customer off as the outcome of the outfit is can be comp something which you had not asked for (talking of experince)...the assistant manager (the snobby lady who works there) just traps you in her sweet talk so pls be aware...she talked my friend into buying a lengha which she did not want and when i convinced her to go back and cancel the order after 3 hours of placing the order they lied and said it was too late and that it had already been processed...however we did not give up and asked for the managers number which she refused and said she will speak to him herself...so after trying like 100 times calls were avoided, when we did get through all we got was lies after lies finally we gave them taste of there own medicen by being rude and ringing again and again just to Pee them off... guess what it worked we got the money back...never ever ever ever are we going back to them!!!!

Hiya people, im a new member on this so still trying to figure out how to use it.
i came across this Khushboo discussion. I've bought a few outfits from them and have never had any trouble with them, one outfit wasnt fitted as i wanted but they got it sorted for me in the shop which for me was as expected.
I've had friends and family order from them too and our outfits have never been messed up.
To be honest every shop has its faults and the way they've dealt with your complaints is not acceptable, if i was in your shoes i would be giving them bad reviews too. but as i cant fault them i think they deserve a good review too and i hope many others will be adding.

Hope i havnt offended anyone.
