Innocent

Im no designer or anything .. but all this crap about salwars messing up cuz of the material and stones rubbing off on materials causing it more damage should have been well thought out and planned by the designer itself?

After all, what are we paying you for? On top we pay for top quality and our salwars are coming apart at the wedding and you want to blame it on how heavy a person is how their thighs are rubbing against each other??

Alot of crap if you tell me!!

hi SHazzy, so sorry to hear about your crappy experience. Us ladies come in all shapes and sizes and if the "designer" is any good they should be able to accomodate us all. What a load of nonsense to say bcoz of ones size the shalwaar fell apart. To be honest i think this particular seller has a huge attitude problem as can be seen on her other thread and i for one am really glad that her true colours have now come to light. I am so sick of these sellers thinking they can give us any old crap at extortionate prices bcuz we live abroad. ( there are some exceptional sellers like Cyma, angelwings, proto and sairaji who i think i will stick with)
Its a real shame that you've had to go through this but if theres one good thing to come out of this is its that other guppies are now aware of the situation and i for one will proceed with alot of caution and only buy from established GS designers.
sorry about the rant but i hope you get this sorted. xxx
precious princess: Well said babes, i agree with everything you've said

Brummiebird thanks hun, I know im gutted that I paid for an outfit that wasnt cheap at all & only get to wear it once due to the poor material ah well I definitly have learnt my lesson however this hasnt put me off buying from guppies at the moment protoype is working with me to get me a few outfits.. All that matters to her is making profit the outfit she sold me was of very poor quality ah well guess u live and learn! your rant is appreciated hun..& i totally know what u mean when they try to rip us off with their overly pricey outfits because we live in UK!....... x

Predatory

Raw silk tends to do that when its stretched taut over something for a very long period of time.

Shazzy, were your clothes tight at all? Im wondering because raw silk is delicate and the more pure it is, the more easily it will tear. I wear raw silk a lot and the only time I have seen the fabric start to stretch like the picture you posted from your phone is when the clothes are too tight or fitted on me. Its not possible for silk to just start disintegrating.

I think the problem was measurements and not the quality of the fabric.
