Threads & Motifs has updated their Facebook page with prices of their new collection. Some prices are per jacket and and some per yard. I wanted to ask, how many yards are needed to make a jacket/kameez?
Thanks

for shirts of upto 25 inches daaman/ghair, 0.75 yards for a shirt's front and 1.5 yards for embroidered straight front and sleeves or front and back of the shirt. their jacket styled ones come in 'standard' cuttings where you can make upto 24 inches wide shirt.

the worst thing about them is that they dont sell less than a yard ! so either you have to buy 1.5 yards for a shirts' front and sleeves or back OR 1.5 yards for fronts of two shirts (like i usually do)

Thanks Prototype!
So like when you buy the material for the front of the shirt, do they also sell in their stores the plain material for the back/sleeves, at a cheaper price? Or do you have to get it from elsewhere? And the fabric for the pants and dupatta, do they sell it there as well?

^true but i prefer to buy the back from them since you cant get EXACTLY the same quality of fabric from outside neither the same shade dyed at times. They sell it at 250 per yard dyed whereas it is 220 per yard outside undyed...it comes almost the same adding Dyeing charges.

Yes..blacks and offwhites are in different tones. You really have to be careful when getting one.

With 1.5 yards of fabric could a full shirt be made (front, sleeves and back)?

Thanks guys
So the material for back, sleeves, pants, dupatta can all be found there
What about the patti trimmings they put on the bottom of kameez etc? Do they sell those too? Like if you want to stitch your outfit exactly the same as they have in their pictures and displays
