Quran Recitation and Translation Online in Arabic, English, and Urdu

I like this site. Check out the Qur'an Explorer. It's pretty cool cause you can hear the audio and the english translation and can even choose between languages in terms of the reading.

They also offer this one-on-one tutoring Live (online) tutoring which I have never tried. There's a 2-day free trial for it apparently.

I say it, but I don't mean it

Posted Jul 27th, 2008 at 08:04 PM by Submission To Peace

Tera Shehr

Posted Jul 27th, 2008 at 05:19 PM by mirage
Two years, and yet since I have set foot on here, memories have started playing their favourite game: haunting. I have been feeling rather sicker, and I really wonder if I can get on with it all. Should I stop being a whinner for this while atleast and spend the time cherishing the memories of the last visit, my first day, right two years back, and umm... that evening...

Mai aik sham chura lon, agar bura na lage..
remember?

The evening and then a brief series...

A medicine for the most common mental disease

Posted Jul 27th, 2008 at 11:59 AM by Submission To Peace
Updated Jul 30th, 2008 at 04:09 AM by Submission To Peace
This disease lives in the mind of most people (with varying percentages) in the form of two thoughts:

1. I wish I had not done this & that, but had done this and that in my past life.

2. I have a fear of unknown for the bad events that are waiting for me in my future life.

A scholar gave a good medicine for this disease:

"You cannot change the past, but you can ruin a perfectly good present by worrying about the future. Try your level...
