read this in the religion forum... the poster didn't say who it was by but i think this is an excerpt from the book Revelation, rationality, knowledge and truth written by Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, the late leader of the Ahmadiyya muslim community.

This illustrates some of the consequences of literally interpreting the prophesies concerning the second coming of Jesus. Surely if his decent from heaven is to be taken literally, everything else should be also.
