I find fervent belief in any idea irritating. when someone speaks to me with the excited glint of a new convert or the conviction of the true believer, i usually am in for a long-drawn battle where I will be the relentless skeptic. To some extent its driven by my skepticism in claims of "proof", but I dont really need to make a point of it.
today it was about 9/11, a friend of mine has converted to the idea of it all being a hoax after watching the movie zeitgeist on youtube....

Its a humble request to those who stalk me, to show themselves up. OR I will say something very uncomfortable and will find it out the hard way.
A song for the stalker as being humble for now:
Singer: Blondie
Song: One Way Or Another
One way or another, I'm gonna find ya'
I'm gonna get ya', get ya', get ya', get ya'
One way or another, I'm gonna win ya'
I'm gonna get ya', get ya' ,get ya', get ya'
One way or another, I'm...

All i had to do was go to the top of Selvili Tepe, about 1090 m above sea level, and do a bloody site survey. That's all...
weather report, checked.
Telescope, checked.
GPS , checked.
Mood to work, double checked.
So i took to the mountain, once used to be lush green... its still but not like before, since the Greeks flamed most of the forestry here.
I had to stop only a few meters before my desired location, some crew was busy digging the...

This morning i struggled to get him dressed as dracula for his nursery halloween party. Parked outside the nursery to see another mum with her kids in casuals. Nearly had a heart attack. Surely i hadn't confused the dates and brought my son dressed as a vampire on the wrong day. Shukar hea...the woman had the fancy dress in a bag. Nearly died. Here is my cutey vampire

It's Friday! :-) I'm so glad that the weekend is here. I feel SO much better today. Alhamdulillah. I can BREATHE properly. I feel less anxious. I have a better out-look on things. Things changed or starting to look up? No. Not a whole lot. It's just that I've been able to talk to my husband about my deepest darkest fears...i told him what I wanted to do and what i COULDN'T do without the fear of being judged or being looked down upon. It took me A LOT of courage to say admit my short-comings and...

I spent all day running around since 8 am
I'm just tired.
Maybe I'm being unappreciative? My life, overall, mashallah, is comfortable. I'm not dying, right? There are people out there with more misery than me.
I PRAY everyday that starting TOMORROW, the world will just be perfect every day until I die. That things will just work out.
I work so hard. And I, so to speak, keep up with Jones' in my work, but I still don't get the rewards that...

He was great but got too much into fusion kind of stuff. This is awesome, nothing but him, harmonium and tabla.
Thanks for Namaan and Lucid for their 'how to upload audio' tutorial

So in the early star trek episodes the "extras" who would die in a mission would wear a different color shirt. These guys are suppose to be zombies from such episodes.
Yes, I work with nerds and geeks. They are disappointed that I didn't join them.
Oh, btw, if you were wondering how much snow I had to shovel yesterday? It was 20 inches, yes, 20!

So, this is All Hallow's Eve. Time for celebration folks!!!
I start with my pumpkin t-shirt, which I am wearing at work today. And I am picking up candies for kids as well, which I'll hand out later today. Oh I can't wait to see their little faces!!!
I don't know whether to go for Reese's (just cuz they don't melt easily), or mnm's (but a kid can choke on one of those) or something else. I only have two dollars left, so might as well use it on this :-D
