So I'm coming home wanting to wind up with one of those evenings, and I get a text from my ex-roomie, and she's like "hey pick me up from the airport, I'm coming home to sleep tonight", and I'm like WTF, WOMAN??

Usually it is a matter of time before an aunty (or occasionally an uncle) would make a comment about how Misbah should have a brother or a sister. While it is annoying at times, it is understandable and I don't question their intentions. I agree with their concerns and acknowledge that having a sibling does changes personality, it gives kids a perspective that the only kid do not have. There are other benefits of having a sibling when she does gets older etc.
But I think it is also...

I maintain hello hi and good relationship with highly influential people at respectful positions, as you never know when you might need their help in difficult times. I don't invite less influential people because they don't benefit me and I don't have time for them due to my busy routine. Even if a gate keeper is morally a good person I can't shake hands with his dirty hands, while there is...

Encouraging good and discouraging bad is a vital requirement of being a Muslim as mentioned in Surah-Asar. Usually if a Muslim tries to perform this "MUST duty" with wisdom, few people might misunderstand him and think that he is trying to show his dominance & proving others wrong only for boosting his own ego, while only Allah (swt) knows his true intentions, which even the preacher himself doesn't know100% until death.

Time flies, eh? I can't believe it's almost 2 months since the wedding. I still haven't finalized the photographs to be edited. I kept procrastinating till last night that I actually took some time out to pick out the pictures I wanted. It was REALLY hard because I loved ALL the pictures and if it were up to me, I'd get them ALL printed.
I had an extremely busy day at work. My manager was unexpectedly away today. I'd been waiting to talk to her regarding a rather pressing matter....
