My fellow Pakistanis who are living in large Indo-Pak communities will understand where Im coming from. I am living in Chicago, IL...Desi Central if you know what I mean.

Recently, Ive started to come across a specific type of Pakistani. The kind that lived in Karachi and was mildly active in politics and knew a lot of people in all the right places. Then, they came here and started their life from scratch. In America, you dont have maids and no one does anything for you for free....

I'm tired, but this is a good kind of tired. You know when you've finally come to the end of something, and you're worn from the travel, but you know its the end. You know its over, and you can move on to something else? I feel exactly like that today. And then tomorrow something new.

There are times I HATE my life, but then there are times where I can actually taste the sweetness of it. It makes it all the more worth it at the end.

it woulda been so cool to have a kid there and get like 50,000 kroner .. not that thats the price of pain or my child. but hell ya.

kher.. so i feel a tad bit better. summer daylight is hell and the kid gets confused at bedtime when its stilll friggin sunny at 11 pm and oh wow sun again at 4 am.. mommy are u stupid for putting e to sleep.. but but.....
