i didnt make dinner lastnight so the hubz got turkish kebabs for us. He went in with the Hebz and came back with two kebabs and a bag full of turkish delight
i asked him why on earth did he get it as we both dont eat it and he's like "ur bachi here got it for free..."
Got home, the lil miss was sitting on the sofa with her plate and my kebab refusing to let me have it. She got me to open it, hold her plate and she ate the entire kebab.... uugh. ...

If only this happened in a madrassa there would've been a media circus around it. Read the sketchy reporting where investigators are still trying to establish what"happened"? Even though it happened in front of an entire class. Nutcases exist in any religion i hate the feeling on always being on the defensive foot when it comes to Australian media. I hope Andrew bolt of herald chokes on this.

I'm on a roller coaster, and I dont know where its going? Too many things these days happening, all really fast, lots of big decisions, lots of choices, and on top of it all, I'm trying to remain realistic, generous, and just plain wonderful...and yet I still know that at the end, I'm going to get screwed.
Why? Because it always happens. Doesn't even surprise me now, at times.
I guess nice guys do finish last.

When I was a child, summer vacation were a great time of joy being a student. During summer vacation, I visited mostly my nani-amma and dadi amma's places. Two houses down from nani-amma's house, there used to be an "uncle" who rented books for children. Imran series, Ishtiaq Ahmed, and so on.
My dadi's house was near Jang Newspapers office on I. I. Chandrigarh Road and there was a bookstall that sold Urdu comics and books.
In fact, it was 1985 when due to...

Last night Misbah and Nadia was having an argument, I believe it was something to do with what Misbah will be wearing the next day. At the end of the argument, Misbah declared; "Baba understands me, you don't".
I told Nadia to get used it, more of it is coming!
Though I recognize that it's only a matter of time before the phase will come when I will become the bad guy too.

People talk to you nicely when they feel like it. When they don't, they can just drive you up the wall. Well, I can't put up with a lot of the crap now only because I just don't have the patience to anymore... I'm losing my touch. I ask you a few times and that's it. It's like "going once...going twice And for a few people going thrice - DONE!" If you take forever to crack open, I won't sit and wait, buddy. I just can't. Then it's just like "Find me if you need me." Why am I...

Is what I am! seriously, this baby is taking a serious toll on me and me not liking it. It wasn't like this with my last pregnancy.
And to top it off, I had my Doc visit this monday, and all sorts of restrictions. My iron is still too low so she was adamant that i take the extra iron supplement as well as folic acid. Also gained weight too rapidly since last visit, so she wants me to lay off the carbs - no rice/potatoes....etc....well at least very minimally. Avoid juice, fried/fatty...
