You feel good about it; rather there is a sense of achievement in there.

My current task is actually for Pakistan, all its population, company and its employees and all those potential employers who will be hired once we get out of it.

We have been working like mad for last few weeks and even worked on eid days and sat/sun from 8 am to upto midnights.

But then again our motivation is Pakistan… and Pakistanis so if there is some sacrifice which is very little...

Days at work are quite challenging these days. A senior left and on the day of his resignation I was asked to step in his role out of the blue.

The role in itself is more non technical and more towards interaction with different sections of team and company as a whole. There are always multiple deadline and pending tasks hanging over...

The interesting bit is that few people are finding it hard to digest that I m put in this role for certain reasons...not very professional...

It is time of the year where my wife with my son is away to her parent.

I hate this part of married life but I also admit that its important. Therefore I dont like it but I have to do it :-(

What is a reasonable time for a wife to be away ? 3 to 4 weeks I guess is manageable. But then her parents would like her to stay more for few weeks bla bla....come on.. this is discrimination against husbands.

Alhamdolilah.... so I have now joined a new company. Last week was all induction n knowing people around.

There is so much to learn, and I am happy that will get a good oil company experience inshAllah under my belt.

Yes, I have moved backed to Pakistan after I lost the job in Dubai. And Alhamdolilah I have now signed a contract with one of the premier oil company in Pakistan on a good position.

Had a wonderful time in Dubai, enjoyed every moment of it but for the time being our rizq in that city was finished so we moved to where is looks it is....

It was pleasure meeting Dubai guppies on different occassions.

Yup alot. Had holidays, did hajj, lost job n sold car.

funny how thing changes and espacially in during this international financial crisis things are changing so rapidly.

so much so that I can feel that the buzz in Dubai is gone, its alot quiter then this place use to be.

there are more n more people effected everyday from this ongoing crisis however there are few people around who cant comprehend that things have changed.

Yestarday while we were standing to get our immigration done at Karachi airport my wife was bit uneasy becuz as it meant that she had to lift her naqab in front of male officer.

So when we reached the counter, I in a very low n humble voice requested the officer that my wife is bit uneasy to open her face infront of you, can you please send her to lady officer, if you need her to lift her naqab. The officer said that he will not ask her to life her naqab at all, buz he thinks its...

Yup Alhamdolilah, wrapped up work for the year. InshAllah will see whats there in next year.

Dubai is so beautiful these days and I am bit sad to leave it at this time of the year but I am also looking forward to see my family and then heading off for another life time experience. Allah Taala afeyat say tamam marahil asan far madain.

Ammi and others are so so waiting for us or rather more for Hasan. I am sure they and he will love it.

My boy has started...

This new Dubai Terminal 3 which is now in first phase of its operations since yestarday is so so so horribly huge. To my dissappointment it doesnt look to be passenger friendly at all. Mind you I am only talking about meeting points in arrivals area. They just dont look as the purpose of such a huge facility is to provide convinience, rather it just the same old theme of the most beautiful n the greatest n the the richest bla bla.

Certainly not what I expected it to be like.

me wife n kid.. they have gone to attend wedding immediately after eid. And I being nice to her send her early so she could spend time with her sister.

Now here I am bored to death...and they will be there for total of four weeks. I am not used to living alone specially after me wife n now kid.

I will be spending eid alone as well as my family in another town is going back home and also few friends wont be here, so I have got no clue of extent of horrible eid I will...

I am just loving to come to office very early. My target is to be in the office by 6.30 so I can go home by 12.30. However I am able to make it by 7.00 in the morning.

Its actually very nice as traffic is not very bad and hostile and also when I go back i can make it in 20 min or so.

I think I would like to keep these timings even after Ramadhan.
