Almost 34 weeks I forget

Posted Aug 11th, 2009 at 03:48 PM by Afro-Sheen

I am almost there!!!! Yeah Baby! As much as I complain about the aches & pains of pregnancy, it is now starting to kick in that...holy cow I am going to have a newborn on hand very soon!!! Ackkk!! What do I do....hehe a tad bit nervous & excited all in the same. It is hard to explain, I am happy but also worrisome at the same time. Like will I be a good mother to 2 kids, will I love them equally, how will I manage taking care of them both? Will S love his new sibling, will he be jealous. Of course he will at least a little, but to appease it and make him love his sibling.

My hubby and family keeps telling me it will be OK and everything will fall into place but I can not help being a worry wart. Oh I just got the cutest blanket for the baby, as well as some other necessities. Still have no idea about the crib bedding set i want to go with.

Otherwise feeling very achy, extremely achy on my sides to the point that sleep is a thing of the past. I finally get up and try to get comfy on the recliner but that only lasts so long. It's ok I am almost there!!!!

Also we have been in the process of looking for a home right now, Alhumdulillah we are close to making a deal, need everyone's duas.

I wish I lived near you, I love the smell of newborns. All babies till the ages of 18 months smell lush...after 18 months they turn into monsters and then I have to wait till they are atleast 5 before I start liking them again.

You're going to drop in like... 2 weeks

Aww InshAllah everything will go fine for you

I honestly can't wait till December, so i can fit into my normal footwear... my feet are the size of canoes!

PS: My eldest was jealous of our second child when she was born... she actually used to tell me to throw her in the bin... but after a while she became very protective of her... you'll see it happen with your two... it's beautiful

Thanks everyone, I hope to lose the watermelon weight post delivery soooon!!!

Smilestar - I think it is at least 39 weeks to be full term.

Maroush - My feet just started swelling and sometimes its hard to even tell where my ankle went

njgal - thanks it is assuring to know it goes fine, hopefully

khawateen - why on earth would you want to go thru labor again? my cousin's wife just delivered her son tuesday night with a c-section after about 14 hours in labor. Its hell. Hmm so what gives you the feeling?
