Thank God It's Friday! I have had a rough week at work, it's been roller coaster. Can't they see I am preggo & lay off me! However it has also been a very productive week and got my projects in order, so I feel good.

Tonight I go shopping for a gift for my friend's B-day tomorrow. I was thinking gift card, but I know she would appreciate something thoughtful so let's see. I look forward to brunch tomorrow, she better make something vegetarian for me!

Wow, I really hope time starts to fly. Thank God I am feeling a tad better then before. The nausea has eased up, but not quite gone away. At least I am having good days where my food stays down. I still do not have much of an appetite, but at least what I do is staying down for the most part. Anyways I believe May 14th I have an appt. for Level 2 Ultrasound where I can also find out the sex of the baby. *Confused* I am not sure if I want to find out this time around, kind of want a surprise,...

Yeay feels good to be at Friday finally. Been a horrendously busy week at work, very uneasy & very unstable. My baree walee has been almost barbaric in terms of pressure & deadlines & micro-managing. So not gonna get her far. Whatever I do what I can, and normally do more than I can, and go out of my way to work weekends/late etc....but she is getting out of hand. All those big-wigs in the news apparently got bonuses, but us little people....our raises/bonuses for this year have...

Well we attended the walima function this weekend, wasn't so bad. (some pics below) The almost 4 hour driving was defintely tiring for me, but we stopped a few times on our way to stretch
It was nice to see some family after so long and catch up. Most of us were at the same hotel so after the walima, we ended up hanging out pretty late. There was this odd rec center in the hotel grounds, so we went there and I just bummed around. There were pool tables, diff game stuff which was neat....

My cousin's Walima is this Saturday, so we have to do an almost 4 hour drive to Nowhere, PA. Jeez. Hope that goes well, will be sure to stop a few times to stretch and let my little guy free for a bit, as he dislikes being in car seat for so long. Ooh I am getting this saree sewn, its black (chiffon/gorgette material) with copper/bronze kaam, ....just like a 2 inch border of kaam all around, very simple but elegant...now the question to the ladies is.....what type of makeup would go with that?...

Today I am 14 weeks & 4 days along my 2nd pregnancy. This weekend there was a glimmer of hope, that I am starting to feel better from the non-stop nausea, as I ate rice n even some chicken/beef after months and kept it down despite some queasiness. However I must have jinxed myself because including today, this whole week has been horrific!!! Even my normal boiled egg n toast which normally stayed down came running right out. And I have such a severe headache now, not sure if its because i just...

Today I am 13 weeks & 3 days into being preggo. The morning...I mean ALL DAY sickness has eased up maybe by 5 %. I was starting to have semi-good days where I was able to keep a small bland meal down, but seems I am regressing again and barfing my brains out. Anyways I am praying this period will be over soon, because I am losing my mind.

Totally sucked PT!!! My car got busted
After work I had run an errand and picked up hubby on the way and drove home all chill & stuff. We got home & I asked hubby to move his car into the driveway, and decided to go park mine in the street. BIG MISTAKE!.

Anyways I parked the car and got the grocery bag and got out and started making my way down the block....when suddenly I hear BOOOM!!!!! and my alarm went off. Some idiot in a jeep lost control of his jeep and crashed...

This is when I found, no confirmed that I am expecting a new baby. Hard to put my reaction into words, but I wanted to write this date for my personal memory. Perhaps I shouldn't write down details of how I truly felt & only write down the fact that I came to terms with it and am thankful to Allah for his blessing.

Although we were planning to try for # 2 sometime this year, I am still not sure why I was so dumbfounded when it was confirmed....

May it be a blessed & Happy New year for everyone. May there be peace and happiness for all. One of new year's resolutions is eating better & going to the gym. Others are to watch my tongue, be a good mother, pray more often & try to read 5 namaz. Also other goal is to take a looong pending exam that I have been procrastinating about, 2009 is the year I better get all this done. Also pray I can be a good mom & wife & beti to all involved...hehe....Inshallah.

Jeez this has been a really tough & hectic week. By far one of the craziest weeks in a while, maybe even month. Anyways all the news about the economy/wall street/stocks etc has us all nervous just a bit. I work for a Co. that is in the midst of all this hocus pocus in the news right now.

I remember 2 weeks ago, coming into work, and people scattered everywhere like flies, not the normal breakfast shin dig. It was all gossip & rumors....but we were given reassurance etc....
