I don't like putting people on the pedestal and certainly hate being put there cos I fall flat on my face 100% of the time. I like Obama, I voted for him, I will vote for him again but this whole Nobel prize is just charming him up for something that is yet to materialize. I think politicians, just like children shouldn't be praised too much or it gets to their head.

It is sad that there were 146 who voted against the hate crime bill. I don't agree with the homosexual lifestyle but no one should have the right to use it as an excuse to take law in their own hands. If you think it's against your religion, like I do, then be content in the thought that God's displeasure is punishment alone for them, don't try to be God. It's the same concept that you have every right to call me kafir every single day, I don't give a damn, but the day you start shooting at me, you have crossed the line.

It didn't snow that much but in the mountains it did. It's suppose to be a high of 37 (that's Fahrenheit) tomorrow and some of the ski resorts will be packed. Too bad I am tied up all weekend in the lab. Oh well, my time will come.

It's Nadia's Birthday today. She is excited and I think she expects some sort of a surprise. I guess she is setting herself up for disappointment.

I rarely get to watch TV, so yesterday while trying to do some work I thought I will give it a try and Private Practice was on. I have never watched the show before, don't know what was going on but it was depressing. I didn't need to watch that late at night because I am already having bad/disturbing dreams for the past couple of days.

They still haven't sent me a Wave invitation. urgh!

	lol at the birthday present idea! btw, if umme Misbah is expecting a present its probably because you have been generous about them previously Aamir gave me one good birthday and since then, nada nothing zilch. We actually argue and fight that day!

	dont know much about the hate crimes bill, but I'd imagine that someone taking the law into their own hands would already be illegal no?

	I think if Obama have enough character than he should just say 'NO' to it. But him being politician, I highly doubt it. People change after being president. Isn't it. Of course only exception is our president Zerdari - was a dumbass and still is.

	Spa? She is spoiled already. ravi, the hate crimes are outlawed but this law will let the feds get involved in case the local people slack by adding to the definition of a hate crime to include violent crimes based on sexual orientation (or perverseness) of the victim.
