so the time is coming near.. my trip is almost a week away and i am excited.. and a bit sad at the same time..


anyways.. i am planning on taking a pocket camera with me so that i can make videos whereever possible.. interview a few young ppl .. show a different side of Pakistan..

or whatever is the real-side.. khair we shall see

right now i need suggestions for which pocket camera should I buy?

So finally I have figured out what to do with my vacations this year .. going to a quick trip to Pakistan.

I am planning to land in Islamabad, go quickly to Lahore and then off to Karachi..

Should be a fun trip..


But the purpose behind this trip is to do evaluation.. of everything.. my ideas, my thoughts, my concepts, my ambitions.. i won't call it a reality check, but that would be a close term as well.

We all have goals in life. We all want to achieve these goals. But if you find yourself procrastinating lately -- well you are not alone.

So from today I have decided to use a new approach. I am going to spend an hour a day on a task that is of my personal choice. It can be going to gym or sketching out an idea or just working on some side project. Whatever it is, I am going to spend an hour a day on it.

I believe that this approach will help me focus on finishing...

Stop Waiting For The Perfect Time.. Random musings

I am not sure about you but a lot of people around me have advice me to wait for the perfect time to do something.

When I was young, I was told to wait for the perfect time to start having fun, and concentrate completely on my studies. I was told that this is the most important part of my life and once I graduate,...

i feel like quiting..

i am tried and just overwhelmed by things around me.. i hate my job.. well not really hate.. its just a drag to wake up every morning and drag myself into this cube and spend the next 8 hours thinking why am i here?

life has been disappointing so far.. i was told to study hard and then once i graduate i can enjoy my life as much as i can.. but look what happened? I am stuck in a stupid cube.

and why do desi parents have to make...

So I have been graduated from university for about 1 year or so .. for the past 5-6 yrs of my life i have been living alone, away from the family.. with a new roommate almost every year. I have been living a "student" life to the max.. lol just getting by with the minimal stuff required to survive..

now i am thinking of "settling down".. setup my living room to be more than just a "crash landing zone for friends"..

So off i go to furniture...

For us to find our passion in life, we must be willing to take risks and make sacrifices. We have to give things up. Sometimes you work hard to get them but it's worth it.

life..what can i tell you... you have always been able to surprise me when i least expected. you try to throw me off by these little twisters that erupt out of nowhere.. you mix my day with different emotions.. sometimes happiness and then sometimes sadness.. but i don't think it will all last for that long.. i have found a recipe to cure you.. i have found refuge from you.. someone far more powerful than you.. yes life itself.. I pray to HIM to make my days go easier.. to make my nights go restful.....

I have been noticing a trend in our society. Actually this trend goes beyond my generation, it exists in my parents generation as well.

We keep running ... running after that ultimate "security" .. big houses, high paying jobs, 401k, investments, money, fancy cars, strong friends etc.. and we forget during this run that ultimately none of this is going to help us. None of this helps us attain the true comfort. We are restless. These days we are emotionally and physically...

ok that was meant to be yelled at myself..

it seems that i have disappeared for a while from blogging.. not that anyone would've noticed.. but yeah .. started my own blog and that kept me busy .. along with work.. things are moving fast..


so approx 1 month left till i go back to Pakistan.. i am excited but sad..

this is my first trip in 10 years.. i am so excited to see my country again.. i knw i knw its sorta pathetic but really i miss...

So the economy is going down.. the sky is falling and Google stocks are going down fast...

what this all mean to those who are trying to create a meaningful startup?

it means that we need to have the ability to burn through our existing cash pile very very carefully. It is going to be tough to get big clients to spend like they used to we need to tighten our belts.

I have been thinking of how to proceed with our next 6 month planning to ride through...

So i have been thinking and wondering how do people in Pakistan/India get to decide, or get to research on which university to attend?
