Had a look at a couple of newspapers this morning. They all had the Mumbai situation in their headlines. The more I read about it the more something didn't seem right.
It's strange that Hemant Karkare the Chief of Anti-Terrorism Squad was killed. It's seems too much of a coincidence. He had led the Malegoan investigation in which an Indian army officer Lieutenant-Colonel Srikant Prasad Purohit was arrested following the arrest of two retired army officers for their role in the blast....

dil ki hasrat zuban pe aane lagi
tumhain dekha aur zindagi muskurane lagi
ye mohabbat thi ya meri dewangi
har surat main surat teri nazar aane lagi
meri zindagi k raaz main ek raaz tum bhi ho
meri bandagi ki pyas main ek pyas tum bhi ho
tum kiya ho kuch ho ya nahi ho
magar meri zindagi k kash main ek kash tum bhi ho
har ek k jazbaat ko zaban nahi milti,
har ek nazar ko dua nahi milti
muskan banaye rakho to duniya hai saath...

Answers given by six to seven years old school children:
Why did God make mothers?
1. She's the only one who knows where the scotch tape is.
2. Mostly to clean the house.
3. To help us out of there when we were getting born.
How did God make mothers?
1. He used dirt, just like for the rest of us.
2. Magic plus super powers and a lot of stirring.
3. God made my Mom just the same like he made me. He just used bigger...

The title of this blog has absolutely nothing to do with the content of the blog other than it is written on a sunday. I guess I am struggling to come with an appropriate title, hence the title.
On to the main point of this blog. Having missed about 10 weeks of training, its difficult to get back into the routine of things again. I need some inspiration from someone..anyone! Talking about routine...not having anything to do since I am taking a year out, I guess I need to find something...

I am back. Haven't got a clue what to write in my blog..but just want my pals to know that I am back. This entry seems so bland....maybe I should add some spice to it.

Me and my siblings are independent minded and live our separate lives and do our own things. Maybe we are not a traditional sort of family.
Anyway I recently had a chance to spend some time with one of my siblings and also her husband and during one of our discussions she said that I am naive, innocent, have had a sheltered life, I am too trusting of others and not everyone has the same values and ethics as me.
I don't know if I should try to change myself or just continue...

I thought I needed to get away from the internet and telephones and tv and all these that stop me from doing any work, at my apartment, and camp at this other place.
I took my laptop ,clipboard plus a pen and some scrap sheets of paper and camped there for 6 hours today. I managed to get so much work done while I was there that I am planning to go there everyday now for the next few days.
It has worked out so well that I think I should get a shed in the garden and watch...

The Olympics is over and I think it is about time that I updated my signature.
Here it is!!:

It is interesting to see during Ramadan how people try to become religious by going through the rituals. Yes I did sat rituals. Rituals of praying, reading quran, watching religious channels on tv or maybe listening to religious programmes on radio. They think that they are better muslims. I think unless they change themselves from the inside first they are not.
To me religion is not about rituals it is about the spirit. It is about having a good and pure heart. It is about being at...

What are the chances of something like this happening? You go to an office abroad one day. While you are waiting to see the person (A) that you are in the office to see you notice someone (B) seated at a desk opposite you and look at the name plate. You see the person (A) you went to see, and then go away. After 6 months you then randomly meet the person (B) on the internet.

Beijing Olympic 2008 is over and I am glad to report that my prediction at the start came true that China would get the most gold medals although the U.S would get the most medals overall. China got 51 gold medals and 100 medals overall, whilst the U.S got 36 gold and 110 overall

I think women are pretty impressive and are equal to men in almost every every respect if not better. My belief has recently been reinforced. If anyone doubts me they just have to look at the olympics.
Even Afghanistan has got more medal(s) than Pakistan....how sad is that!
