if possible, please check the "you fake clowns" thread in life1. No wonder I am turning into a agnostic day by day.

I don't want to slam islam as it is not the only religion that does this, but is it me or are religious people (of all faith) are some of the most vile, hypocritical, judgemental people of the world. Muhammad, jesus and other religious leaders were social outcasts and people looked down upon them. I bet they are shaking their head seeing their followers doing the same to others.

My honest advice, don't turn your back on the religion based on what idiots say. Find out for yourself what it is, what it's all about, forget all the cultural crap you were told in bachpan, and how othrrs behave .The best thing to do is to go into researching it with a clear mind and heart and no preconcieved notions. Please do take a good look at the religion, and not the followers.

sarah, the scary thing is that I did take a good look at religion. Qur'an, bible, torah and all the other books are clearly written for a time that simply doesn't exist now. I am shocked at some of the stuff I've read in qur'an. If I was to follow them now, it would lead me down a path of clear destruction. Quite frankly, organized religion to me is nothing but white-collar extortion rings.
